The boys woke up to find all their presents under the tree. At 7 a.m. I heard from Evan "look at the Christmas tree!" Followed by a knock at our bedroom door. Yes we were up early, but it was fun.
Elford made his last appearance. The 12th day of Christmas found him praying at the nativity scene worshiping baby Jesus. He didn't leave presents this morning, only the message of the Lords promise.

As with every year, the dogs (especially Dakota) get gifts too.
Dakota has always loved opening presents! He pranced around the dining room for a minute first and then started tearing it open. Kallie wasn't quite sure what was going on. She grabbed a piece of wrapping paper and ran! With her gifts, the kids had to help her tear a little and cheer her on to keep going.
